These baptismal records generally contain the following information:

- Before 1820, social class of the parents
- Sometimes the child's race
These marriage records generally contain the following information:
- Name of the diocese
- Date and place of marriage
- Groom's name and age
- Groom's marital status and residence
- Names of groom's parents and their residence
- Bride's name and age
- Bride's marital status and residence
- Names of bride's parents and their residence
- Names of the witnesses and their residence
- Sometimes the legitimacy and race of the bride and groom
These burial or death records generally contain the following information:
- Name and age of deceased
- Date of death or burial
- Place of death or burial
- Sometimes name of spouse, if married
- Sometimes names of parents
- Origin or residence of deceased
- Sometimes race of the deceased
How to Use the Records
To search the collection, select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page
⇒ Select the Nombre del estado
⇒ Select the Nombre de ciudad/pueblo
⇒ Select the Nombre de parroquia
⇒ Select the Tipo de Registro y Años which takes you to the images.
Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
