| This section is incomplete.
You can help by adding a translation of the title in the language of the records.
The collection consists of church records of baptisms, marriages, memberships, deaths and burials. Some civil births, marriages, deaths, and wills before the advent of Napoleonic Civil Registration in 1795-1801 are also included. Not all places or denominations are represented. The collection contains some indexes. The collection covers the years 1542 to 1910 although most of the records do not go beyond 1801.

Search the Collection
To search the collection image by image
⇒Select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page
⇒Select the appropriate "Religion or Other Record Category"
⇒Select the appropriate "Municipality"
⇒Select the appropriate "Record Type, Years and Volume" which takes you to the images.
Search the collection by image. Again you will need to compare the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor.
Be aware that with either search you may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
As you are searching it is helpful to know such information as your ancestor’s given name and surname, some identifying information such as residence and age, and family relationships. Remember that there may be more than one person in the records with the same name as your ancestor and that your ancestor may have used nicknames or different names at different times.
