The Orem Utah Sunset Heights Multi-Stake Family History Center
We serve patrons in the four stake area of Cherry Hill, Lakeview, Sunset Heights and Vineyard. The location is adjacent to Utah Valley University.

Getting Started with Your Family History - Using Family Tree - Using Family Search
[Classes and Workshops]
All classes taught at Sunset Heights FHC. Our Focus this year is to teach you how to use the many tools found on FamilySearch.
Writers Workshop every Wed 3 pm by Henry Miles A fun approach to writing your family history in “one experience essays.” To prepare for class, attendees should choose one experience to write about and come to class prepared to relate that experience orally.
Two other topics are taught each month. Each class is offered twice. One class is taught the first Tuesday at 11 am and repeated the first Thursday at 7 pm. The second class is taught the 3rd Tuesday at 11 and repeated the 3rd Thursday at 7 pm. In January, May and October the first of each class falls on a Thursday and is repeated the next Tuesday.
World Vital Records by Bob Gunnell Thurs, January 16, 2014, 7pm – 8pm repeated Tues, January 21, 2014 11 am- 12 noon. Learn how to navigate your way through “World Vital Records” as you search for your ancestors. World Vital Records is a premium web site (available free at the FHC) with records collections from around the world.
