The information in this list of Pennsylvania Military Units comes from the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors web site (CWSS). That web site can also be searched by the name of a soldier.

  • Erie Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers (3 months, 1861)
    Began in April 1861 with John W. M'Lane, of Erie, as Colonel. An infantry unit.
    After the three months service, many of the men went into the Eighty-third, One Hundred and Eleventh, One Hundred and Forty-fifth and other Pennsylvania regiments.[1]
