Rockland Maine Family History Center

The Rockland Family History Center is located in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building at 64 Old County Road, Rockport, Maine, just a short distance off of Highway 1. We have extensive local records available for your use in finding your ancestors as well as computerized records from a variety of sources. The Rockland FHC is open from 10:00 to 12:00 am on Wednesday mornings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday evenings, and from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday evenings.   • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.
  • Patrons' Microfiche Collection -- a collection of fiche ordered by our patrons, assorted titles. Contain family histories, vital records, and other types of information.
  • Indefinite Film Collection -- a collection of films on a variety of subjects, to include vital records, county records, court records, etc.

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
