Back to Zürich in Switzerland

Seebach originally belonged to the church parish of Kloten, with the village of Oberdorf belonging to the church parish of Rümlang. In 1664, it received its own priest (and kept its own parish records), but remained an affiliate of the church parish of Grossmünster of the city of Zürich until 1863, when it became in independent Protestant parish.

In 1934, Seebach was annexed to the city of Zürich.
