  • 15th Battalion, South Carolina Heavy Artillery (Lucas')
    15th Heavy Artillery Battalion was organized at Charleston, South Carolina, in November, 1861, with three companies, later increased to five. In 1865, assigned to A. Rhett's Brigade, the unit fought as infantry in the North Carolina Campaign and surrendered with the Army of Tennessee.
