NORMANTON, SOUTH (St. Mary), an ancient parish, in the union of Mansfield, hundred of Scarsdale, N. division of the county of Derby, 2 miles (E. N. E.) from Alfreton. The Wesleyans and Primitive Methodists have places of worship.
