Thanks for starting the nav box. Any chance we can use "Getting Started" or "Introduction" instead of "Record Selection Table"? I think novice researchers may never check out a "Record Selection Table." Lise 18:07, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

There are several options for text links to

  • Cook County Genealogy Online
  • Historical Cook County Vital Records
  • Cook County Clerk

The link is repeated in each of the three vital records categories (birth, marriage, death), so should be consistent. What about dropping the words "Cook County Births from" and just using "Cook County Clerk Website" instead?Template:Patron question

I would also suggest removing the words "Cook County, Illinois" before the three headings (Birth, Marriage, Death). I would be happy to make the changes and will do so unless someone has a strong argument to make for keeping the redundant wording. Comments? Lise 04:45, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Having looked at the section in question, the whole section needs a rewrite to group and to eliminate redundant lines and links. Dsammy
