Where would you like to see a research community group started?

  • I am all for Kentucky, too.

  • I need a group in Mexico that speaks English.  Also, a Italian site in English.

  • Please consider groups for the countries of Scotland and the Netherlands. As for states, groups for Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and/or Utah would be very helpful.

Admin responsibilities

  1. Help to create a vibrant, collaborative research community on Facebook and Skype
    • Help ensure all questions get answered or addressed – you don’t have to do it all, but help encourage contribution
    • At least a couple times a week, contribute information and news about how to do genealogy research in this area, information about genealogy events, etc.
    • Interact with community members as they post, show gratitude for great resources shared. Check the page often, once a day if possible.
  2. Help community members adhere to policies of civil discourse, not spamming the groups, and keeping religion out of the discussions.
  3. Join our group of community admins, and connect with the “fellow” admins of your locality.
  4. If you must leave as an admin, find another one who can take your place
