Question #1: The Images for Angelina County, 1846 are too faint and difficult to read. Are there better images available?
Answer #1: Some of the images in this collection are difficult to read. Because of the fragile nature of the older documents, this is the best scan we have. You may be able to read the images better by using the invert feature.
Question #2: There is no listing for Bell County for the year 1859. Are there any records for this year and county?
Answer #2: The images for Bell County for the year 1859 can be found under Blanco County, 1859. Images 1-11 are from Blanco County, images 12-55 are from Bell County.
Question #3: I am looking for 1853 records for Burnet County. Are there any available?
Answer #3: There are 1853 images in the 1854 browse point. They appear to be a combination of the two years. There are 1853 dates on images 4 and 6. There are no dates on image 3, 5, 9, and 10, but image 5 looks like a continuation of image 4 which has an 1853 date. Images 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, and 12 all have 1854 dates. Because of the age and date of these records it is hard to confirm the dateless pages. The camera operator did the best he could.
Question #4: Are there any records for Cass County for the year 1872?
Answer #4: Cass County and Caldwell County are on the same film for the year 1872, and were both loaded into the Caldwell County browse point. Images 1-61 appear to be Cass County. Images 62-118 appear to be Caldwell County images.
