Randy is an instructional designer, working with the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He recently finished a project; helping research consultants in <a href="Family History Library">Salt Lake City's Family History Library</a> learn how to use the new.familysearch.orgAsk anyone, he really made that. website, creating courses similar to <a href="https://help.familysearch.org/kb/elearning/en/lessontop.html?id=S4D2GLLLL3">these</a>, scenarios for a lab, and certification questions. Currently, he is beginning a project on helping those same research consultants learn how to use FamilySearch Wiki. He is using this page to make sure he understands how to do everything in Wiki.
Randy has a Masters of Education in Instructional Design and Educational technology from the University of Utah. He also has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah. Having finished nearly all of his pre-medical requirements before realizing that medicine didn't appeal to him, Randy also has a good understanding of physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
