Regarding the Glamorganshire category, I have no interest in Welsh research and was only categorizing an uncategorized category. I did not create the category. If you would like to see a category re-named or deleted, please discuss it on the discussion page of that particular category. Thanks! Molliewog 17:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. Already created by Darris. Bromaelor 18:09, 20 May 2008 (GMY)
I love the image you added to the Wales category page. This changes the experience for users in a positive way. There is a lot of catch up that other areas in the world will have to do, thanks to you! Darris 19:36, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Regarding the making available of the Wales Study Group skype get-togethers you have, there is a way to do it.
Get 'Freecorder'. It's a program and a browser toolbar that allows you to hit a button and begin recording a Skype call, you can pause it, and resume the recording. The free version will only record two minutes but the paid version (about $20 US) will allow you to record the whole thing regardless of length.
Then you can distribute it however you find it convenient to do so, podcasts work, but also using YouSendIt or ssimilar large file distribution pages also work.
Need more info about this? Just drop a note on my talk page. JamesAnderson 17:05, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks James but I don't have Skype (or even a camera!). I'm just tidying up some of the pages. bromaelor 18:27, 24 May 2008 (GMT)
I saw some of the work, that's good stuff you're putting up there.
Skype is a free download, and calls from any Skype user to another are also free, and you don't necessarily need a camera, audio-only calls are also possible with a headset, available at most computer stores or from the shopping area on the Skype website itself. Using a headset will allow you to work on say, the wiki while talking to others about what is going on with it. Everyone else can do the same and you can all be working on the wiki at the same time. - I know what Skype can do as several friends have it and I've seen it in action. However, as I'm already spending too much time in front of a computer, I feel that Skype, Facebook, MySpace, ... are innovations I can do without :-) bromaelor 12:16, 25 May 2008 (GMT)
