This collection will include records from 1847-1868.
These records include images and index of the portraits from Frank Esshom's Pioneers and Prominent Men of Utah: Comprising Photographs, Genealogies, Biographies (Salt Lake City: Utah Pioneer Books, 1913). This collection does not include the additional material from the volume.
- The collection contains the following indexes and lists:
- Index to Portraits (pages 14-41)
- General Index to Important events (page 42)
- List of members of the Mormon Battalion (pages 43-45)
- List of the pioneer company leaders who entered the Salt Lake Valley on 24 July 1847 (page 46)
