Wald was established as an independent Reformed parish in 1687 from the parishes of Trogen and Heiden. Records held by the Family History Library include baptisms (Taufen), marriages (Heiraten), and deaths (Tote) from 1687-1875.
Family books (Familienbuch) exist for Wald for the following years.  Unless otherwise indicated, they are housed at the parish rectory in Wald.
